Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers

A porcelain veneer is a thin layer of porcelain that is durable and has similar colour and texture to natural tooth enamel, but does not decay and resists staining. They are a permanent option to close gaps between teeth, repair damaged or discoloured teeth, and provide a beautiful, natural looking smile.

Porcelain veneers can normally be done in 2-3 visits, under local anesthetic with virtually no pain. The front of the tooth is prepared to create a good surface to adhere the veneer to, and temporary veneers are placed until the final ones are complete. Once the final veneers are fabricated by our highly experienced dental technician, Dr. Terk ensures the patient is satisfied before final insertion by making any requested changes to the shape and colour. With proper care and maintenance they will last for many years, providing the patient with a “million dollar smile”.
